(Milwaukee) – After learning that four of the major construction contractors for the Foxconn project are out-of-state firms, Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Matt Flynn today repeated his challenge to Scott Walker to present an honest analysis of the Foxconn deal.
“Scott Walker and his administration deliberately misled Wisconsin taxpayers about the Foxconn deal,” said Flynn. “Firms from Rhode Island, Colorado, Texas, and Germany will lead construction. Taxpayer dollars will go to out-of-state businesses when they should go to Wisconsin ones. The governor intentionally misrepresented the benefits of the deal. It is impossible that Foxconn could have the economic impact in our state that Walker promised us.”
Last week, Flynn exposed the false numbers of the Foxconn deal. The news of the contractors confirms that Walker used a fake multiplier to overstate the economic value to Wisconsin.
